Join over 1,000 Buckeyes in honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and make Monday, January 16th a day you will not forget! Come connect with your fellow Buckeyes and engage in service with the Columbus community.

Doors Open: 7:45 a.m. at the Ohio Union

End Time: Approximately 1:00 p.m at the Hale Black Cultural Center


What Do You Need To Know?

-Volunteers will be taken on a first come, first serve basis.

-Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

-Bus transportation will take you to and from a community agency if your service site is off campus.

-Please wear closed-toe shoes & comfortable, weather-appropriate (cold weather!) clothing.

-Free t-shirt provided!

Group Information:

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service is a fantastic opportunity for groups (student organizations, scholars group, etc.) on campus to work together to serve Columbus.


There is no pre-registration needed to participate as a group!  Please arrive with your entire group to the Ohio Union on Monday, January 16th.  Potter Plaza (outside of the Ohio Union) will be available for groups to meet up prior to entering the registration line.
